Client guide to the hedge fund formation process.
When forming a hedge fund, there is no substitute for industry knowledge, ingenuity, experience and global relations. When partnering with our clients on the launch of a new fund, we employ project management techniques, and bring efficiency and cost certainty to the forefront of every engagement.
Fund in-Formation is a process-oriented approach to hedge fund formation that was developed in collaboration with our clients, as well as through reviewing in-depth process analysis and client surveys. The process includes three distinct phases – Define, Decide and Document. The phases are designed to optimize the use of our lawyers and tools, as well as to provide a platform and structure for intelligent decision-making. This process is intended to lend itself to greater cost certainty through project-based fee arrangements.
Fund in-Formation is a comprehensive resource that arms investment managers with innovative tools that will help them see the finish line from the start. Resources utilized in Fund in-Formation include an extensive repository of precedent documents and language, document production software, decision checklists and an extensive collection of regulatory analysis and market data.
